Why did I receive a prescreened offer of credit and how was I pre-approved?

You received a pre-screened offer of credit pursuant to Tribal law and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”). The FCRA permits creditors like Big Picture Loans to obtain limited consumer report information for use in connection with unsolicited offers of credit under certain circumstances. This practice is known as “prescreening” and typically involves a credit reporting agency that generates a list of consumers who meet certain pre-established criteria for us to provide a “prescreened” or “pre-approved” offer of credit to you. This is known as a soft credit inquiry and will not impact your credit score. Please click on this link to learn more about the tribal lending laws: Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code. Click on this link to learn more about the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

How do I know if I'm approved for a loan?
